i sure hope i can find a deal like that when i start shopping for a 60 front

don't hold your breat till u do, $400 d60f's don't come around often.

thats how much I paid for mine. got the money to him so quick, wasn't letting that get away!

nice!! on second look, those kingpins sure do look caked over, they need attention, ship it here and ill fix it up for ya!! lol

Nice score, great price and Spicer hubs to boot! :thumb:

You can decode the numbers stamped on the tube to determine what year the axle was made. It won't make much difference, except whether it has the neck-down axles or not...and those could have been changed out already.

why do i get jealous everytime someone score on a d60. I dont need one, but i want one really bad. Must be for bragging rights.
It just like the tach dash. I have a tach but its not in the dash. So why do i want this stuff.
These trucks are worse than a bad drug addiction.

congrats.....nice score.

Yeah I will figure that out when I start tearing it down. :D

What is so special about the Spicer lockouts on these 60's? Someone mentioned that about mine and made me wonder, and now I see that comment again.

All steel internal parts so they are way more durable thanthe average aftermarket potmetal hub. The inner gear also has enough meat to be broached to 35 spline. The only thing stronger would be flanges. :wink1:
