This should be a fun swap. Pulling the engine, trans, and t case. I am going to be swapping in the crate engine, replacing the front pump seal on the trans, switching to a short t case mount, and replacing the factory heater junk with a Summit heater. After all that then I will be fabbing new sliders and bumpers.

And, no those valve covers and tbi unit are not getting used.

I will keep it updated. I am going to pull the front clip off to make it easier to work on, plus I don't think I could get the engine out to easily in my garage with the clip on.

When i did the motor swap on my blazer, I took the front clip off, and it was much easyer. then while the motor is out you can clean and paint the frame.

I started pulling the clip today. Didn't get far, kinda got distracted with other things. I will most likely clean the the frame and pint it. I am going to have to paint the firewall after I get done welding the holes from the heater shut.
