i was under my truck the other day and i noticed that there is hardly any room for the front driveshaft to angle down. the transmission crossmember is in the way, and im just curious as to what you SAS guys did to get around this. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Mine clears with tons-o-clearance, I am only running 4" springs though. When my front axle droops way down to it's max I still have 1/2" of clearance.

would the crossmember be farther forward on a yukon? im only gonna be runnin 3" or 4" springs as well, so its not gonna be that steep of an angle

Should be the same, when I first looked at mine before the swap I thought there was no way the shaft would fit but the yoke is far enough out from the tcase that the shaft clears just fine. How far is it from the centerline of the yoke to the front edge of the crossmember?

Dont you use the older style c-vjoint with a flange mount
driveshaft, This shoud move the pivot point out away farther i think???
