1996 K1500 Suburban. My front axle is the 36.5" Dana 60. I want to use ORD brand SAS brackets, zero rates, and crossover steering. I want to use 8" lift 47" springs.

My noobie questions:

1. Using the 8" springs with a zero rate, what are the chances of having leaf spring to drag link interference?

2. Are the centering pins that come with the zero rate a universal size? Like is the diameter the same for all springs? Is the head that goes into the spring perch the same on all axles? Are the included centering pins application specific?

Hard to say as the 8" springs vary, but generally that system will clear.

The center pins that are included are 3/8" and cover just about all springs, I've never seen an aftermarket 47" spring that was different.

The center pin holes in axles in general aren't always the same, in particular, in my experience the Ford axles have bigger center pin holes. Our center pins will still work, but if you wanted everything to be exactly right you'd have to get a 3/8" bolt and grind down the head to fit the exact hole in your Ford housing.

Thanks for the quick response! Hopefully I'll be ordering my SAS kit in the next week or two.
