Saturday was my opening weekend!

Jr. passed his hunter ed with flying colors so he went too and the wife said she had to go with for his first year.
So we all 3 marched around the hills . Trust me when I say "Quiet" was not an option.
Oh well we had fun and no one that I talked to all day had seen a thing either.

Our season starts wednesday, I'll be heading up friday night for the weekend hunt. Got my eyes on a couple decent bucks i've gotten pics of in the last month.

We're hunting new area and all I've bumped were 3 doe so far but we got a pretty good idea where to go this weekend.Hopefully the gawddamn poachers will relax now that all their freezers must be filled.

I went last weekend and didnt see anything. probably wont get to go again till next weekend. Have a camera up where I have 1 picture of a 130ish 10-11pt. I have shooting lanes and everything ready to hunt, just need to find out when he is passing through.

When a herd of cows and a spike bull run past you at mach 3 and you could reach out and poke them with the muzzle of your rifle if you so desired. You've had a fun weekend.
I think my Son pooped himself.

What state are you in fumes? I want to try to hunt elk in a couple of years. Might need a guide!!

Washington. And I aint no guide for sure, just a guy out deer hunting trying not to get run over.
