Saw a couple cool K30 plow trucks this weekend

I don't know about anybody else but I'd hate to tear up those trucks as a plow, I'd try like hell to bust up that duece and a half!!!

i got a 9 foot fisher on my k30. the blade is over 900 lbs before its cliped on the truck.

i have plowed a lot with it and even done power slides and 4wd wheels turned to locks on blacktop covered in snow and ice and foot to the floor. no broken dana 60 yet

the 60 even has non spicer greaseable joints in the axles.

the true 1ton k30's are hand down the best plow trucks of the day . and if you got a 87 then tbi fuel injection made it better.

My first time seeing the old K30's with the Boss V's on here, I had started to do the same thing. I built an 85 K20 from the frame up to be a main line plow truck. The K20 received a 4" HD Superlift suspension kit (I wanted it stiff), I purchased a used Boss RT3 mount that had been lowered 4" that had been on a K30 dually, I put the mount on the truck and found it wasn't going to hang down low enough to run the new Boss 8'2" poly V XT plow so the idea was scraped, although I could have just removed the lift but then the truck wouldn't have looked right:D. Ended up installing an 07 Fisher 8'6 HD straight blade on the old truck.
