Don't know if it is a 69, 70, 71 or 72....but it was mostly stock from what I could tell....

2wd?
nice blazer
damn things are soo expensive around here, would have been a nice alternative to the C10 I'm working on

Always good to see a 1st gen on the road.
If it's all stock then it's a 72 since the rear view mirror is mounted on the windshield.

I believe that it is the 1972...you can't tell in the picture but I am almost positive that he trim on the tailgate was woodgrain

And from the side of the lane this picture was taken from, were you operating an electronic device while driving? :shame: :D

Nikon DSLR....not a cell phone....resting on top of my steering wheel....not an issue officer....stop in at Amity sometime...I'm the Chief of Police...I'll take you "fishing"....we got some big ones in Amity :haha:

looks like a nice day down there, really tired of rain here in the pacific north west

Did you chase him down in the K5?

I would have but I had somewhere I had to be...I almost drove my K5 too...can you imagine...a 1972 and a 1974 meeting side by side on the interstate...I would have flagged him over so we could take pics of them together...

Thats a guy I work with. Its been in the family for a long time... Really a great K5. Super clean.
He is a really cool guy, trying to get him to join up maybe can get y'all together for a great photo. He lives in Elkmont.

It looks like it has the "Cheyenne" package trim on it,like my '72 had...has wood grained inserts in the side and tailgate trim, and the door panels had wood grained panels on them too...nice looking truck!..

Someday if I ever learn how to put pictures up online, I will scan a snapshot I found of my '72 K5 the other day--I'm sitting in it with the top off it,my dad must have taken the picture, probably around 1988 or so...also found a picture of it I took the day I bought it,and one of the '71 CST I had too...
