Well my short bed is no longer mine, while dealing with recently discovered ovarian cancer in my wife I'm doing what I can to support us which unfortunately includes selling a square.

My best friend since I have been 5yrs old had his planned project of the last several years fall through due to a title situation. So I have to say that there are few people that love uld rather end up with the truck.

I hooked him up on a pretty sweet deal if you ask me, (there's no way I would pass it up) 1980 swb K10 350/400/205 (was my daily for quite some time damn solid truck) Throwing in my half tons with Detroit's and 411s, rear disks. New inner and outer fenders that I got when I bought the truck and a machined 4 bold main block ready for 383 kit for 2k.
He already told me that he wants 4in of lift and 33s so I'm trying to get him from building a gto to a wheeling rig so I can go down to Ok. To visit and do some wheeling. He and his wife had a baby 5 months ago so I know things are tight for him, that's why I wanted to get him started with a good platform.

So as much as I hated to get rid of it the money will help our situation and I know it's going to a good home and the fact of the matter is my daily dually is my priority project and besides my burb sitting waiting for love as I speak, and I hate to see a good truck sit and slowly fall apart.

I guess the whole point of this post is to bid farewell to a project that I have not gotten to, Im beginning to think that I get too attached to my projects its hard to let go....

Sorry to hear about the truck. More importantly, how's your wife?

I'm actually headed to Denver right now to be with her this week, we are trying to preserve her chances of bearing child (which has always been very important to us especially after suffering a miscarrage after our wedding last year)at the moment and start chemo treatments mid week...she is hanging in there, being strong as she can.

Hey man prayers sent out for you and your wife.

Glad the truck is going to a good home

Thanks blazin appreciate it and yes a good home indeed, I'm willing to bet this won't be the last of this truck on the good ol ck5

My Darling Bride had a bout with cervical cancer years ago...she wound up having 6 or 7 miscarriages, I have to ask her. She went on to bear 3 healthy young un's. Keep the faith, we'll be praying for you and yours.
