I have used several sets of AFR heads, never had a problem with any of them and I like the different sizes of ports and combustion chambers offered to match with the type of engine being built.

Scat internally balanced 5.7 rod crank.
Scat 5.7 rods.
DSS forged pistons.
Dart 200cc SHP heads. (ported and polished)
Crower roller cam and full roller valve train. 1.6 rockers. Cam number 00469
MSD ready to run distributor.
Performer RPM air gap intake.
Made 474hp 514 tq.

I used the 64 CC ones, part #5089.
I had to get longer pushrods as per the installation guide.
The exhaust ports were apparently moved slightly as I had some slight problems with manifolds hitting head bolts.

Its tomorrowI pulled the valve covers and ran the numbers for the existing heads....they are some of the worst heads out there...
462624 - 76 cc Chambers... very thin and crack prone...good for boat anchors.
So 64 cc chamber heads and a cam swap should wake up this little motor up...

I like my old school mechanical fuel pumps and carbs...they don't leave you stranded...
I'll leave EFI to the younger kids that like to hookup laptops to their tuner cars...
