Kind of sounds like one to me. I got these emails after I put my D60 onCraigslist. Let me know what y'all think.

This is the first email I got:
Hi i just want to know if this item is still for sale and i will
happy if you can get back to me intime so that will can arrange okay

Here's my reply:
Hello! Yes this is still available. I actually just got finished taking more pictures of it as I was planning on putting it on ebay later today. Thanks for looking!

Hi i just want to know if this item is still for sale and i will

Then I got this later this evening:
Thanks for the prompt response and i will love to make an instant
purchase i will be posting a certified check or money order to cover
the cost of the item while you hold on my behalf. Once you have
this,my mover will come pickup at you place.I will be needing the
following information to issue out the payment . . .

1.Name to be on the check

2.Home address

3.Telephone

4.Your state,city and zip code

** Pls note that the payment for the item will be send to your address
asap. I have taken a close look at the advert and am completely
satisfied i really need this and will appreciates that you help save
this for me till the payment arrives as it will save me some extra
cost***
There's nothing he's asking that I wouldn't have put in the ad so would I be leary of giving him my info? Kind of sounds like a scam but it's my first ad on craigslist and it doesn't sound all too legit. Opinions? Thanks guys.

Notice how the reply never refers directly to what your selling? It is just a cut and paste scam attempt.

Thanks guys. the beating around the bush about what I was selling, not to mention the grammer or lack thereof, is what had me questioning it.

Send an email back saying yes the 32 foot yacht is still for sale. Then stroke them along. It it is honest they will say I was interested in the Dana60. Have fun with the douche bag

I just sent him back this:

I'm sorry but I don't accept checks. I deal with cash only. That way the government conspirators can't track my every move. I hope you understand. I would be more than happy to deliver for $1.50 per loaded mile to your location or meet somewhere. Thank you.

Oh and I also notioced that out of both emails that he sent me, the address were slightly different.

Every time I get one of those it makes me wish I was friends with a LEO or two. Scammers make me sick!
