scan/diag tools

I've got several tools including some that hook to the pc via bt obd.

But most of them wont do things like airbag issues. (which I have right now)

Any of you have any advice on a decent scantool/diag platform. This will primarily be GM but may be used for other makes on occasion.

I might be able to check one I have, when I get home and see if will do SRS on my 01, or even the wife's Scion. What year and model is the current problem child

Have you looked at BlueDriver? It does ABS and airbag, I believe, but you'd have to look up the specifics. It's way more than a cheap ELM tool, but way cheaper than a pro scanner.

You could go a level up and get a Tech2 clone. Buyer beware, so do research on what's a legitimate item/seller (if there is such a thing). There are lots of good reports on these and they sure do a lot. Example on Ali Express

Just got a brand-new Snap-On Solus for work. Only like $3k or so. Not my money. It's nice.
