Is anybody out there using one of the budget (around $100) OBD II scan tools --the ones you run on a laptop? What are you using and do you like it? I'm going to have to get something to diagnose my 98 Sub K2500. Thanks!

I have a portable Auto X Ray Scan tool. It scans both OBD1 and OBD2. It works good. I can download all the scan info to a PC and make charts and graphs on all the operating data. Mine cost around $300 for the scan tool and software.

Where did you find OBD software and cables for $100? The cheapest I have seen are around $180-$200 including the cables.

Thanks for the links. I liked the stuff from obddiagnostics.com The $96.00 price is hard to beat. :thumb:
