I have new alcoas for my 88 crew cab dually and need all new lug nuts and I guess washers. The truck has directional aluminum rims on it now,and those lugs wont work! My 91 cc has alcoas also, they are kept on with a lug (1 inch socket!) and a washer. So do I need both a washer and a lug nut or can I get just a lug that works by itself? And what size do I get and where is a good place? Any help is always welcome!

thanx Scott

By the way I need spacers for the back, where should I get them?

Holy crap!! I just priced wheel nuts at napa and they want 5.69 a piece!! This is for a open end 14-1.50 flat nut with intergal washer. Wnet to the junkyard and they dont keep them. Need more options!

yep, my families old dually had alcoa rims, it uses an acorn nut with matching washer. Can't remember if they are separate or not though. Check some swap meets. I replaced my key lugs with standard lugs for a good price at my local swap meet.

The lug nut's on my '90 V3500 with the Alcoa look-a-likes are the 1" socket types with a separate washer.

My guess is you'd need to be lookin at the junk yards if you want them any cheaper than that.

Yup ,thats what I have. But I also have a few that are open end flat with a intergral washer,I think they are a ford lug nut. Hit a few junkyards today with no luck and a few speed/wheel shops and struck out. Now I have to go to the one shop I have been avoiding because all they do is trucks and I HATE them!

I have never dealt with your style nuts.........OK, lets start over.

I have never had to deal with those style wheels.....Better. But you might check this outfit.

It looks like the nuts on the bottom of page 1 or most of page 2 might have what you need.

Then, you just buy the caps to make them look pretty. That way the lug wrench does not scratch the finish.

Well, never mind. Looks like they are higher than NAPA.

I am sorry dont seem to have one close by,Never did try them online though.thanx for the reminder.
