I currently have a 208 in the Jimmy. I REALLLLLY don't like the long slip yoke tail shaft. The SM465 in front of the 208 is a 32 spline..I believe.

I have a 205 with a fixed yoke rear but it's a 10 spline. I also have a 205 behind a TH400 that is 32 spline but it's a slip yoke. I want to build a 32 spline, fixed yoke 205. Can I rob parts from one to make the other work?.

Also thinking long term doubler..maybe

You can use a 205 that was mated to a 400 as long as its the '85 to '91 years. Just get one and the adaptor and you're good to go.

Output shaft (long slip yoke) can easily be swapped out to fixed yoke.

The fixed yoke is a direct swap onto the 32 spline 205.

What year is the 32 spline case? If 85+ (round pattern, long input) you find a factory adapter and bolt It up to your 4spd.
