I have a 72 blazer that I just updated the suspension with 4" lift Skyjackers 52's up front and 56's out back. I need some help deciding on what brand and model shocks to run. Up front I'm going to run a hoop or tower. In the rear I'm thinking about using the stock location. The truck is going to be used in the dunes and mud. Light trails not a lot of rock crawling. I'm thinking of a dual shock setup for the front and singles in the rear. I’m considering King, Fox and Bilstein's reservoirs. Anyone using them? What are your opinions? Do you guys have a better recommendation? I’ve used Rancho 5000’s, Skyjacker, and Trailmaster shocks in the past and was not impressed.

Thanks Howdiy for the link I sent him a PM.

Anyone else have an opinion? How about the best way to mount the shocks for the rear? I don't want to bring them through the bed so it is going to limit the length. I think in boarding is going to leave it to unstable. Is the stock location going to be best?

Is there any one making shock hoops for the front? I've seen a couple custom made ones. But why re invent the wheel if some one is mass producing them.

BILSTEIN 100%

5150's are nice but the 7100 have their advantages

i was using 275/78 valving up front but got a custome valving done now.
