Saturday, I bought a 89' V35 Crew cab minus the front clip and the 454 engine. The truck is pretty rusty, I bought it for the d60, 400/205 and the 14bff. I'll get some pics up later.

Sounds like a sweet score. What are the plans for it?

I thought about re-storing it...
I just have to many projects going right now..
and I need a spare 60 on the shelf.:wink1:

hell of a score dude... even without the D60 its a hell of a deal. The 454/th400/np205 combo would cost more than $800, easy. gj!

You know, if you decide not to restore the crew cab.... you have to sell it to someone that will, otherwise it's a sin to cut up a decent crew cab. "and the lord said, though shall not cut up crew cabs..." :deal:

If it's completely rusted out or smashed up beyond repair than it needs proper crew cab ceremonial disposal..... :D

Sounds sorta like the deal that I had, 90 CC dually TBI 454, 400/205, of course 60 front and 70HD rear. Got the truck for $750, sold the front/rear for $800. Got ticked off, gave the truck to my buddy who owns a junkyard....

Where'd you find this one at, Jerry?

I found it in Wadsworth, not far from the brickyard.

I'm not sure what to do with this gem...it says re-store-me all over it...

Take the axles out and put rockwells under it with a big block and some ginormous tires and call it done. Oh and give the axles to me.

Shoot, find a clip for it, throw it in the Maaco shop, clean it up, and resell it for 5-8K or so. You could likely make a small chunk off of it and have fun doing the restore....
