What are the specs on these things compared to the previous 9.5"?

You can get them in a width that fits under our trucks?

I see it's got disks, and it looks like gear setups for them are 2014+, so first year or...?

I believe those replaced the 10 bolts due to increased engine output In 2007.
there are two different sizes ring gear. 9.5 and 9.76. Not sure what the larger ring gear was used in but these are all 1500 series applications.

Max Tow package gets the 9.76” ring gear. Literally the same assembly except for the ring gear.

9.5" or 9.76", 12 bolt cover, listed as a 2014.
Looking at the parking brake, it looks like with a little luck the stock cables may work.
This one came with 3.42 gears.
Going to hit marketplace for a blue tip wrench outfit. Going to get manly with this shizzle! Arr arr arr
