Well, I just scored big time! Wrench here on CK5 turned me on to a D60 listed on a local classifieds site, and I just heard back from the fella and found out it is mine!

He figures it has 3.73 gears, and it is totally complete, hub to hub and all the steering stuff from a truck that was being used up until just recently. Dually diff, but I'll swap it out to SRW later on when I rebuild it.

Get this

$500.00, and he is pulling it for me :D

Score! Esspecially considering most D60s are going for around $1200 - $1500 around here :) Just recently sold a 3/4 ton 10 bolt for as much as I got the D60 for.

Sounds like dually Scott.

Good deal, thats what I give for mine too. 4.56 open diff. hub to hub.

I will probably swap out to SRW hubs also.

Guess if i didn't read the post so quick i would have seen this part. :doah:
 
I've also got my eye on a set of recentered H1s with a good set of 37" hummer tires on them, I understand they work very nicely with the DRW axles. I may just convert my rear to match the front and go from there.

Either way, this axle is going into storage until next spring. I'd like to rebuild it, re-gear to 4.56, install crossover steering and an ARB air locker before I do the swap. I've got a perfectly good set of locked 4.56 3/4 tons under the K5 right now, no need to swap them out unless I break something other than an axle shaft prematurely
 
Way to go Russ, glad you got to it in time ;) check your pm's btw, I've found my 6.5 filter assembly with a brand new filter in it . . . .
 
Ya know if you have someone turn down the DRW hubs to just fit the wall thickness will actually thinker then the SRW D60 hubs.
