score! got a 1/2 TOP!..

will this work? yellow being cap, red besides, and the wall white, the blue as snaps, and then have a piece of canvas made up with a window, then just snap it to the cap, and on the top of the wall, put metal rings in the canvas, then bolt it to the wall? and when its hot, either snap the "curtain" down completely, or just zipper out the window???

can any one chop a photo to see how it might look?
how much would a "curtain" like that cost to make?will the canvas place supply buttons? if not are they easy enough to get?

ttt, is there a type of velcro that i could use, or would buttons be better?

so, what ya guys think? good idea? or would it just be better to make a window out of lexan? if i`m not able to use the spare tire carrier, should i just have them make up a whole thing of canvas,to cover the back of the cap, with a window then go all the way back to the tailgate? so it will look like a small tonneau cover?

idea

i have this "his and hers" sunroof that my buddys dad gave me, should i put it in the top, and use that for ventilation?

I'd worry about popping them out of their frames or worse, if ya wheel it.........the body warps/twists when ya cross obstacles diagonally. IMO........

point taken, i`m leaning more towards the canvas piece with the window in it for the back, as it seems that having the lexan window that is able to slide down into the wall, would be more of a pain to do than anything, as opposed the just buttoning it back up, what do you think dontoe? by the way congrats!

another question

do you know the piece that is on the top of the tailgate, that butts up to the weather strip on the back of the cap, theres two of them, one on each side, should i somehow incorporate them into the wall?

Chop the top off at the windshield, cut the tops off the doors, reinforce the rocker area, get a roll bar/cage and a full soft top.....................chicks dig convertibles!!! :wink1:

is making a wall, then having a canvas "curtain" with a window made up my best bet?
