Its old skool compared to a lot of you guys rigs but it will work


its a 1987 1 ton 2 wheel drive, 454 FI, th 400, 70 rear, ?? gears, silverado(power everything)

I'm not 100% sure i am going to keep it but im definately going to try. It actually has a lot of history(pics below.)

I'm thinkin white paint slammed on air bags.

man its one long summabish (almost 21 feet bumper to bumper)

This guy apparently loved the 80's

Big block baby--454 FI w/MSD cap wires and 6a (that alone is almost worth what I bought it for.)

Beautiful interior--all it need is a couple peices put back on the door and a headliner

LOTS of history behind the truck--he was a local off road and drag race guy

rummaging through this is what was left behind (an almost empty bottle of tequila, one brand new boot (he only had one leg--no bs) and a hat. other things included were a wodden pig cutting board, a blanket, and a bed full of trash

I bought this gem for $500 and though i shoudn't have bought it i couldn't pass on that kind of deal.

On a technical note-----

this is my first FI and first BB motor---is there any tips/tricks do's/don'ts i can do to this thing--it says 56k on the ticker so judging by the floor by the pedals and the history (to and from races and to and from titay bars) im guessing 156k, anything i should look for.

i wouldnt reccomend tasting that jose.. it looks a little light to be tequila.. it may be a piss bottle... looks like a great score!!!
