a 465 pto box goes to a chain,

that then feeds ANOTHER 465, that then feeds the pto!!!.

Just because it might fit on the blazer doesn't mean you should.

yeah that is a 3 or 4 speed side loaded tranny, not a 465

if its a 4 speed then its not a truck tranny even, would be car only

465 are top loaders just like the NP435 and such are

that is nothing even remotely similar to a top loader tranny

good score on all that equipment for that price even though its ancient and needing gone through, cleaned up, greased and such

ill let you know when its off the truck.

the pto i have is prob 75 lbs and its a lot smaller than that one i am going to guess 200

You can always build for the extra weight, but why do you want it? It might sound cool to say you have a 30,000lb PTO winch on your blazer, but think about your frame. To use that pull, you will have to tie up to a tree or 3 or 4 trucks behind you to keep the winch from dragging you, and your frame just won't take that abuse.

The company that manufactered that winch is still in business. Here is the link http://www.team-twg.com/TulsaWinch/

My hats off to you 1-ton for giving the man a helpful link!

My next door neighbor scored this old drill press. Cool, but old. He found the original manufacturer, got spec sheets and all the parts to make it like new. The thing is very cool now.

be careful with that thing!

If you do mount up that winch, you better be careful when you use it!--get your truck stuck good enough, and pull it out with that thing, your liable to turn your K5 into a Suburban!..S-T-R-E-T C-H----- :rotfl: :haha:

That winch would be sweet on a ramp truck for scrapping cars..we had a similar worm drive 30,000 lb one we used--we hardly ever chained the cars down,we just ran the cable over the roof and hooked it to the flatbed, and let the clutch out--you could just about slice the car in half with it no sweat!...and the worm drive held it tight without any chains..they work good as a hoist too,it holds the load wherever you stop it...

should be great to see when he had it on the truck.

yeah ptos are great i have hurd of them folding flatbeds in half becausr the driver hit the lever and the hook caught!!1 woops!
