Heard through the grapevine where there could be this engine that was never been fired and could be bought cheap.

Dunno if its a 6.2 or 6.5, either way its never been run, has mechanical injection and will fit perfect between the rails of my 46 diamond T project. Hope to attack over winter.

Hope to convert the cool crate into a run stand also

Yeah the guy who I bought it from bought almost all of them, just for the steel crates they were in, then scrapped everything that wasn't a crate.........eeeeek

I had a Bel Air just like that when I was a kid in high school. Same drivetrain...283 and a 'glide and also a 4 door.

Nice belair. I got a 69 2 door my uncle gave me when I was 16. rusted in the usual places. 23 now and still planning on doing something with it someday.
