Guy on Pirate was selling this 4K folding lift and a 2K engine stand for $100 bucks! Hoist is like new, powder coating on engine stand has a little chalking but I cleaned it up with some penetrant. I will replace the rusted bolts. I started replacing the crappy metric hardware on the hoist but don't have all the grade 8 fasteners I need, Will have to go buy some. It's for this new to me 454 TBI I just bought from longbedder. Pics in 2nd post. I'm stoked!

Thats a hell of a score! I have been trying to find a decent hoist for the last year and a half, all i can find are junk ones or extremely overpriced ones.

Have you ever tried to turn an fully dressed engine upside down on a t style stand? very tipsy! You got your hands on one of the good ones.

Yeah, it's got a good foot print. I pulled it apart and found some rust inside the leg holes but I dried it all out, scraped the rust out, painted inside with rust inhibitor paint and bolted it all back together with grade 8 hardware.

I got the same stand & hoist. Well my stand is black instead of orange but its the same hoist. Hoist is pretty good. Wish it was a little taller for my K20, even on flat stock rollers its a little low. Also, I need to get a new one and reinforce it first. After hoisting Iron headed bigblocks and a buncha diff 6.2's around, its a little......deformed.......it rocks back & forth now and only 3 wheels touch the ground at any time

I can tell it's not the most heavy duty hoist. But, it will do for now. Would love to weld one up myself and make a REAL heavy duty, fairly tall hoist. That would be cool.
