The body is shot got some Alabama Chrome on it so i thought that i would buy it up an make a truggy! not sure if it is the 2.8 or 4.3 didnt look that much but would i have to make any changes to the driveline for a small block?
other than motor mounts

if its 2.8, you need a different tranny, one from a 4.3 or a fullsize. then manifolds/headers, oil pan, radiator, among other things.

there's a manual you can buy, i think from jagsthatrun.com that has all of the s-10 conversion info. i'm sure you can find it all throughout message boards and what not. try s-10 boards though.

if it is a 4x4 it will be a 4.3 they did not put the 2.8 in that new of blazers that were 4x4

get the 4.3 tranny or at least a 4.3 tq converter, they have a higher stall speed. Also what kind of small block are you gonna put in there, Ive seen a few with 305's and 350's stock and they are QUICK, guess b/c of the low wieght. You are also gonna need special headers.
