this was a pretty productive weekend. i bought these new to me wheels on 35x12.50 tires. the only thing that sucks is the tires are allterrains and the wheels are 16.5's lol but i think they look good. not bad for a 100 dollar set of wheels and tires lol

I also picked up a 1983 14bolt FF for only 25 bucks from one of my friends no pics yet but it does have 4.11 in it

those wheels might be western wheel brand and worth more than copy /nock off brands.

check the backside near the web's to look for western wheel cast in them.

pic of my set on k30 with 35" and 4" hd lift and 2" body.

Ill trade ya a set of 37x12.50 civi and military tires and 16.5x10 steel wheels for your rims and tires.

ehhh no thanks man, im liking the look of these wheels on my truck. ill keep a eye out for another set if you would like

I work with military vehicles. Had a LOT of HMMWV's sitting here doing very little for most of the last year. They, and the pallets and pallets and pallets and pallets of their tires, are finally going to the troops to be used.

Nope. Not a fan of them honestly. Pack up in mud. Weren't popular back up in Michigan because of that. Hard to get down the trail when they're just full of mud.

dang i didnt know that, they prolly wouldnt be to good for the kinda trails around our parts then i guess lol if they dont do well in mud i doubt they would do very well on hill climbs and some wet rocks lol

Actually the guys on Kentucky Krawlers recommended to me to stay away from the MT/R's when I was looking at a used set early this year.

That tight center tread on them packs up in anything sticky. The HMMWV's here illustrated that very many times.

yea if any they would know, ive road a few times with those guys in my buddies jeep but its been awhile. i think im just goin to stick with my original idea of iroks one day lol

The consensus was that any decent mud terrain would be better than the MT/R or one of the "rock crawling" tires. That original MT/R tread was designed when rock crawling competitions and rock racing were all the rage so they oriented them for that. They paid the price when Bob in Middleville, MI or Tim in Georgetown, KY bought a set for their pickup, went wheeling, and then found out they suck in the mud. Heard the new style are better.
