has anyone tried running one on a chevy?

before you say why? here's why. im thinking that you could fit it closer to the axle centerline to make more room for big tires stuffed and turning (dont have to worry about shearing off ram assist fittings.) granted, would prob require modifying inner fenders, may have to worry about engine clearance, and they have a god awful long sector shaft. but with ram assist, would take the strain off of the shaft (i think). anybody think that this would hold water?

heres a pic of a yota with this setup, which i think could work on a k5, but need some input. but then you may run into tie rod to pitman arm problems at full stuff. could also be a bonus for the narrowed croud too, as it moves the box up out of harms way.

It may be just me but it would looki likt there would be a lot of stress because its up off the frame. just my .02

was looking at it, looks like a chevy frame is too tall to have it fit right without a lot of mods anyway.
