I have one power and two manual doors I'm going to scrap. I have a Blazer and a Burb that do not need anything scavenged, but I'm keeping the Burb with power doors. What should I keep before junking them?

1. I'll get the glass. All three have inoperable vent windows and/or broken glass.

2. Handles/mechanisms.

3. One power motor.

Anything else?

Good call.

Does anyone have an exploded diagram for disassembly of the doors? I saw a tailgate one (and kept it) from a CUCV, but my Google-fu is weak.

I was gonna say switches as well. They're about $20 apiece for repros. The doors are easy. Just about all the screws that need to come out are exposed. You just hafta look. Then there are only a few plastic push pins left. Get screws out, start at one corner and pull. The plastic pins pop off pretty easy, if you have to apply more than mild 'tugs', there's still a screw somewhere in the panel.

once you have it off, you'lll have to loosen the window runs to get the glass out. It will all be pretty obvious once you can see inside the door. One thing to watch out for, There's a phillips head screw with a taper washer on the top of the leading (diagonal /A-pillar) edge of the door that holds the front window channel/vent window assembly. I recommend an impact driver to loosen it. If you round it off, you'll be drilling it fo sho. All in all, very straight forward.

The other pain is the clip holding the outside button rod on the latch mechanism. Small, hard to see and to get to. Remove the inside lever rod, the window track, the inside lock knob rod. Then the clip is easiercto get to. You have to pry the top forward a small amount then it slides down. Rod comes out forward easy then.

I might be interested in getting a driver and a passenger from you if there isn't much rust on them

Well,I'm the opposite side of PA from New Jersey, but I have two manual doors and a power door. I'm game lol
