I thought there was something wrong with my blazer so i was backing up with the door open looing around and I hit a tree with the door.
So now it opens too far and it's rubbing my fender...What's the fix? New hinges?

buddy of mine sheared the driver door on his 05 Dodge 2500 in half... that was with a twin post lift and a cummins idling in reverse...

Can you retype and clarify the original post please?

well if I know the question right... as in what I did.....
when I did this... my door went all the way back and now it worked from the fender to 1/2 way.. I had to use the door to push it back in place... then I could shut it.. but it bent the door end and the fender lip....

My door opened too far making it come out of alignment and now it's rubbing on my front fender. I'm sure some of you have done this...

still going to have pictures to get some idea of what is going on there. Could need new hinges but then again it may be so bad that the door itself is a little srewed up.

i believe you broke the top hinge... it holds the door from going to far back.. if you bend it back it could brake.....
