From my search results I am guessing is related to my pass side fuel pump.

I poured half a can of Seafoam in yesterday on my way wheeling. Truck ran great and towed better than usual. Coming home I let off the gas going through a traffic circle and it died. No CEL, No steering, No brakes :eek1:

Anyway I throw it in N and start cranking..nothing. Flip the tank switch and try it again..nothing. I finally get pulled over and find the ECM-B fuse popped. I grabbed my radio fuse, threw it in and it fired right up. Drove home with no issues.

When I was safe at home I switched back to my pass tank. It ran for 20 sec then died, but didn't blow the fuse that time.

I am pretty positive its the pump. Any possibility Seafoam killed it, or more likely broke up some crud that burned it up?

I used almost a whole can of that stuff in my old S-10 Blazer. Some in the tank and some in a vacuum line into the motor. Let it sit, and then did the best James Bond smoke screen ever. Ran great after that, and up until I got rid of it.

But not sure why it did that. Maybe a coincidence??

I've had ECM B blow when a fuel pump went out before. It was on a s10, but I cant imagine its set up much different

I had my ecm-b fuse pop when my pass side fuel pump locked up. Probably like you said, broke up some crud in the tank and sucked it into the pump.
