I need to dig out and replace my seam sealer between the firewall and cowl. Any recommendations? It looks like the 3M blue and white tube is common.

I've always been a Lord Fusor fan, but the 3M stuff is top notch...

Ive used the 3M as well, good stuff, easy to apply.

It has rained 3” in the last 2 days here and the carpet is soaked. I pulled it into the barn to dry out and I’ll scrape out the old stuff in a few days.

This stuff works fantastic and lasts 30+ years out in the elements so being protected inside sealing body parts is a cake walk - it ain’t cheap but it works with no excuses ( note : get the “industrial“ grade ).

^^^ is the stuff I used to seal roof top amber strobes and antennas, cab marker lamps, etc. seals good is a pain to remove when replacing the item it had sealed.

This is the stuff we used when I worked at the Off road shop to seal up ANYTHING on the roof, tent, etc. where water intrusion was a possibility. It works great.
