Searched need help! 2wd steering box pressure hose part number!

I got a 2wd steering box from what I thought was a 81-91 blazer but the fittings are different. I have a 86 and installed x-over but blew the box up on the rubicon a few weekends ago and got a 2wd box form pick a part. Got it installed but the dam hoses are not the same fitting at the box.

Does any body have the part number for hoses that will work?

The "new to you" box is probably from an earlier model (73-80). They have standard thread fittings and double flared hose ends while the later models had metric fittings and o-rings. I would recomend just getting another box. Otherwise, just go to vatozone, they have those kind of hoses.

Went to kragen and gave them the stats 80 blzer 2wd w/o hydroboost and funny thing. The return hose is the correct fitting but the pressure is the same as I have now so wtf do I do.

Does anyone have any Ideas for the pressure side?

I guess I need to try 79 and see if any different.

same thing happened to me, you have to have some one make you new ones with the peices you have. ie. the right pump fitting to the right box fitting ( for the high pres only.) you can use what ever on the low pres.

Just send the box to me and get the right one Seriously let me know if you want to sell it before I go pick one up on Monday.
