Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity on the locking mechanism? It's locking when pulled out slowly so we can't use it at this time. The seat belt pulls out about 3" before it locks up. 1988 Burb. Thanks, Yall!

If I remember correctly, its all based on a hanging pendulum bob. So its the angle that the whole assembly is mounted at that determines when it locks up. Pull the plastic cover off and see if you can adjust the pendulum to hang straight down.
