Where can you get shoulder harness selt belts for the 69-72 model Chevy trucks? I know there around because I have a 71' model with them in it, but they are the wrong color. Thanks.

Never put a stupid move passed a stupid person.

There was a set on E-Bay a while back, but other then that they may be hard to find. I once changed the color of a pair of cloth bucket seats with vinyl upholstery paint. It might work on your belts.

I have a question. If you dont have a roll bar what do you attach the shoulder part of the belt to? The hardtop and if so what do you do whan you take off the top. Do you seperate
the belt so it is just a lap belt. Just curious because all I have is a lap and I want a shoulder. I didn't know there were factory shoulder harnesses.

I don't have a K5, I have a truck that's from the 69-72 era.

The belts did attach to the top from the factory.

hey is your 71 have stock non retractable shoulder belts?
you are able to get aftermarket belts from www.gmcpauls.com or julianos.com (spell?) OR use the shoulder belt setup from a 80s S10....... and mount the top part in the cab were that little plug is.... take it out and you will see it is made for a anchor bolt for shoulder belts..... and on blazers they have a little plug (in the doulbe wall tops)
there has been alot of discussion on this at <a target="_blank" href=http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com>www.67-72chevytrucks.com</a>
