Does anyone know if there is an actual "direct replacement" seatbelt set that would fit inside my 87 k5 without any modifications? I just did spend $200 on a very nice set that was apparently a direct replacement from seatbeltsplus.com for 73-87 trucks with bucket seats only to find out that they are not even remotely close to the originals...:doah:i have seen that LMC also has replacements, but yet again, they look very different. Any help would be very much appreciated on this annoying topic.

Thanks!

BTW, Here are some pics of my original compared to the new ones that i have just receivedIMAG1408.jpg IMAG1409.jpg .

I haven't heard of any. Would be nice. I think K5 belts are their own animal unfortunately.

Darn, that is not what I was wanting to hear...:( It amazes me that not one company makes reproduction seat belts.... There are still plenty of these trucks out there and I'm sure more of these trucks than not have droopy seatbelts...

Well mine are pretty shot, so I guess I'm just going to have to make the new ones work somehow..:dunno: I'll most likely just plug the holes that will not be necessary anymore. The buckles do look really nice though and have brand new sleeves that hold them up next to the seat, so they're not all bad I guess. Ill post pictures on here once I get them in so you guys can see

I just installed those very same belts in my '68. They work fine, look good, adds shoulder belt, and bolts into the cab holes with included hardware. (Some included bolts didnt work, but I've got plenty of grade 8 hardware laying around)
