Yup, 86 and newer is the fold and slide seat. the back of the seat flips forward which releases the slide mechanism so the entire seat base slides as far forward on it's tracks that it can. The seat back should clear the cage too which will be a bonus. I'll snap a pic of my pass seat in the forward position and edit this reply.

I have seats from a 2008 Chevy Silverado in my Blazer, and I want to adapt the seat flip forward goody to it. You think there is a way to make it work?
 
Hey Recon, do you have any pictures of the seats in your blazer? I'm thinking about doing the exact same thing... seats are even out of a 08 chevy truck too. How's the mounting and seatbelts work for ya?
