I've got an 89 stock seats, original covers in great shape. The driver seat bottom is tired of me sliding my fat ass off the edge getting in or out. Has anyone used the bucket seat rebuild kit from lmc? Is there another better option?

How bad is the foam in the current seats, I am getting ready to re-foam one of my new to me seats. I plan on going to a fabric shop and getting foam from there.
goal is to pull pack the seat cushion cover, cut and shape the new foam. An re install the seat cover, a least it works in my head. once I get it done I will make sure to post some pictures an hopefully small write up.
The new seats are from an 02 Chevy Silverado, going in either my daughters 83 k5 or my 76 k5.

My seats are completely destroyed the foam is falling out in chunks I need to find someone who can reupholster mine, anyone know what sort of costs of be looking at to have them done at a shop? Im not much for sewing myself.
