Howdy,

Blazer noob and am really confused.

Just pulled a nice set of buckets and a console out an 85 for my 83. So when I get home the seat base doesn't seem to match up. Actually nothing matches. The 83 seems to have 2 bolts holes for each front leg and an anchoring point on the passenger side. Well, at least the console will bolt up.

The 85 has the metal base with 4 bolt holes total.

Please tell me that there is a difference between the two years and I'm not loosing what's left of my sanity :eek1:
Gotta get rid of the broken down POS bench that in there. Does anyone make the mounts?

They should be the same, It was late '86 when they changed seats. If you had a bench and now you are putting in buckets you will have to drill the inside holes for the buckets. Then gets some grade 8 hardware and big washers to bolt them in.
