To put buckets in a pickup using a center console.

Does a mount exist to make this bolt in?

Burbs are different on the back right?

They mount. Just need the front middle mounts. Back mounts are the same

Need to build a mount, for the front inside, and drill a hole for the back inside mount and weld à nut to the bottom of the floorpan. Super easy.

If you your junking a burb, you can steal the mount for the inside front mount. Just weld it to the floor pan.

Beags, do you have any pictures of this by any chance? Wondering if I can adapt my PRP seats to them.

No, I don't. Just memory when I mounted burb seats in my 79. I want to say I mounted both seats in under an hour.

Pulled the bench out. Put in one seat and located the rear hole.
Drilled it. Welded a nut to bottom of floor pan.
Then mounted the little bracket I cut off the floor of the burb when I pulled the seats. Mounted that to seat and put the seat back in the truck and ran down the three bolts. Located the front mount flat of the floor and tack welded it down. Then removed the seat. ( So welding berrys didn't burn the seat)
Welded it back down. Did other side.
Flop the carpet back and cut some holes.
Was done in an hour or so

And the truck is an hour and a half away right now, so no pictures.

Thanks @beags86

Trying to help a buddy build his square and I haven't done it myself just wanted to verify what I told him was correct

Aha. I skipped this step. Which explains why I don't have the right mounting surface for my buckets. Thanks for saving me a little thinking time. I haven't pulled the bench seat yet to study it up close, so I figured the floor pan shape was different on mine.

@78K30, do you still have the burb that donated those seats? Or is it scrapped by now?

It's super easy to build if you don't have it. Small piece of sheetmetal. A hammer, vise, a 110 welder and you should be fine.

Thanks. We've waited long enough that we'd now prefer to keep the extra seat belt.

I'll get around to it one of these days. Probably in July. :haha:

.

You know me better than that of course I still have it :haha:

If it’s a crew cab they go in just as described above , a regular cab or putting buckets in the rear of a crew cab you have to bend the rear of the brackets ever so slightly to get them to mate up to the floor with out kicking the seat up to much

Hahaha.

Can you post a picture of the brackets? I might be able to bend them up ahead of time if I know roughly what I need.

Next time I'm over there I'll try to remember! With the way work has been this week itll likely wait until this weekend. It's been 5am mornings until 7pm nights
