Seat swap question

I am currently in the works of installing some 04 Suburban seats in my K5 (actually an M1009, but you get the idea...) I need to figure out how to remove these original brackets with the welded nuts that are mounted under the floor so I can get to drilling some new holes and putting a fat plate under the new seat as reinforcement. Any suggestions? Also, does anyone know if their insurance company would be upset with this swap? haha, thanks everyone!

PS- if anyone had swapped in 01-06 suburban front seats in their K5, how did YOU do it?

Those brackets should be spot welded. Find the spot weld, use a spotweld cutter and drill it out. I started to use some seats out of a mid 2000’s trailblazer but had to make brackets to fit the original holes. I have since decided to go back to the factory look. I haven’t used the Tahoe seats but it sounds like some of the original holes are fairly close to lining up to the Tahoe seats.
