I have a 94 suburban, with buckets in the front and would like to put in a bench from the same generation truck. Does anyone know what all is involved and how difficult it is? Thanks in advance.

Really just curious here, not knocking it at all...but why the want for the bench seat? Every truck I've ever had with bench seats have been uncomfortable and annoying, yet I frequently see people wanting to swap out buckets for a bench. I really am just curious what the draw is to them?

I prefer a bench as well. Means my lady can sit next to me...
(I have no answer to your actual post)

This is a camping/bov. I have a family of 6, and if I put a bench in the front, I can take the 3rd row out and still seat everyone. That gives me more room in the back for..... stuff...... as well as a place to sleep for 1 or 2 with the middle seat down.

Ahh, things I hadn't thought about, and makes sense. My last few prior ladies had trucks of their own, which more often than not went on the off road trips as well. My dailys have had buckets for the past 20 or so years, largely due to needing the console space for radios and other equipment, so it just really crossed my mind to do it otherwise.

Thanks guys!
