Ok, the seats in my 84 k5 hurt the ol ass. I was wondering if anyone did a seat swap, I was thinking out of a subrban but Obviously you need a passenger seat that folds up to get in the back. Any info would be great.

I did a swap out of a 94 p/u (60/40 bench) went in well with very little bracket modifying. I had to move some things around but not much..

There are a lot of guys in this community

that have done various nice swaps, from very inexpensive boneyard import seats to nice aftermarket ones. I am in the latter group, put Flofits in almost 3 years ago. Very comfortable, good fit, etc. Let me know if you need a contact name and location to check into them. Pics of them on the site below.

Yep 15 bones huh Mudhog let me guess U-Pull it . My bud got some out of a mazda 626 nice little seats nothing wrong with them 15 bucks apiece

I have seats from a '99 2dr Tahoe in mine. They were in thee when I bought it, but they were $540 at a custom seat store. The holes are a little off, so I drilled new ones in the metal base of the seat - not in the floor, like the person who put them in first did

I put seats from a 1996 Suburban in my 1980 are they work extremely comfortable and look great. I now have a 1990 and I am thinking about swapping them over. Either way, I have a nice set of 90 seats for sale or a set of 96. They are grey in color.

When I swap seats I want to get rid of the flip action in favor of sliding, I will have to reinforce the floor the mount the rails on though.

Look up members and contact Rocko. He did a swap and has it pretty well diagramed out ... as I recall.

I swapped in a set from a 95 Bonneville. They are Velour and the driversside is power...

I just made some spacers and drilled a few new hole sin the floor and used large washers..

I second the vote for Flo-fits!

I got a chance to have a good look at the ones in BlazzinOR's Blazer...VERY nice. Also very comfortable with good support where you need it. I'm sure they weren't cheap but then you get what you pay for.

I found a parts truck that had a complete interior from a '90 Jimmy SLE and scooped that for under $200, but that was the complete interior including a cherry dash, rear seat door panels and all the little trim pieces.
