Do you guys happen to know how to switch seats out?
I have a 1984 k5 blazer with a 6.2 diesel.

I was told a third row seat from a 2000 suburban or Yukon would work. I pulled one and haven’t had a chance to comparison them.

Would you happen to have any info about seat swapping or know anyone who’s done it? I gotta have chest belts in the back seat for the kids.
And am not sure if it will just bolt right on or need something framed around it or under it or built for it.

Thank you guys for your time and help.

I did this swap. Make sure you get the “hooks” from the back seat too. I had a shop fab a new mount that bolts into the existing holes, and they welded the hooks onto the mount so I can remove the seat.

I tried asking them questions on his forums but never heard back :(.

I pulled the 3rd row seat from a 2001 Yukon. I pulled the original k5 seat out today and put the Yukon swap in there just to see if it lines up but it does not.
It will fit between the wheel wells but its a bit snug.

Do you know if his rail plans he designed would work with a Suburban/Yukon 3rd row seat. They look identical other than his has the split option.

The 2 seats.
