Any idea time and cost to put 2004Tahoe seats in a 89’ Jimmy. I have the seats
Or would it be better to put aftermarket cobeau seats on existing seat frame? I would prefer not to drill any new holes in floor
Thanks

As far as I know, no one makes brackets to just bolt in the front seats. There is a guy on FB that makes brackets to install a Tahoe 3rd row seat in the rear but I think the kit is $400+.

Most people either drill or make there own brackets.

I was hoping to find a fabricator that is familiar with K5’s
Either way I guess I’ll need a fabricator to make brackets. I’m looking to do the fronts keeping the rear stock

I don't know how long it would take, but you should be able to find a way to make an adapter bracket that bolts to the original holes in the floor and then accepts the Tahoe seats.
I saw one K5 that they cut up the original bases and welded a plate to them. I would honestly try to enlarge the footprint onto the floor to help eliminate the flex that breaks the floor in these.

Yeah I already had to pay a bodywork guy to fix my floors should’ve probably had him do the seat brackets at that time kind of blew it

I'm trying to find a pic of my seat brackets. I made them to use the original holes in the floor with my original seats but 2" rearward for my fat body. Maybe something like that would work to build off of? Stand by for pics when I find them.
