Can you point me in the right direction for some nice seats. Like Corbeau Baja seats? I find them all over the place for Jeeps but none for a k5.

I would like to be able to have the passenger seat flip forward.

Also, looking for a pre bent full cage kit.

Links would be nice. I am getting excited to work on my K5. I have been in Afghanistan for a year.

Thanks!

There are no pre bent cage kits (that you'd want to use ) for K5's. Search S&W cage for some info on the only one I know of. You are better off building your own or having a chassis shop or 4WD shop build you one.
As far as the seats, have a cage built or better yet build one and incorporate the seat mounts into it, I dont know of any aftermarket brackets for K5's, but I could be wrong.

yeah, I'm on a love/hate with PRP.. but I'm gonna give em another chance...

my order got pretty screwed last time.. the wrong codes where made, so i got a free set of gray/orange/black comp hibacks, that where wrong, ended up free... sold on here...

these where the right ones.... FINALLY... ;) BUT... the quality isn't 100%.. I guess from the extra wide, 4" extra tall, the back is a bit twisted on em.. barely on one, bit more on the other... no big, runnable... my fat arse'll flatten em out!!! :pimp:

for custom stuff, you gotta look to them, or Beard... Beards are fricken sweet, but pricey... Corbau and such, your a bit limited on choice, but it's pretty cheap... PRP does anything, and the prices are a bit saner than Red Art/Beard stuff.. one day, maybe my Willy's!!!! :woot:

*Ryoken reminder* BUY LOTTO TOMORROW!

The K5 will definitely get some custom seats when the time comes, if I didn't already have such a wish list for the K30 (so much for a budget build) I would be shopping some for it too :doah:

I came to the conclusion before Mutt even arrived on my doorstep, that I wasn't gonna feel guilty about the K5... if I don't die, it'll get done at some point in the next few yrs hopefully... but for now, I need to make what i'm driving decent... at least.... :haha:

Well looks like I will be getting a tubing bender!

Thanks for the help on the seats.

How are the PRP seats? Pretty comfortable?

seem so... but they haven't been out of the dungeon vroom vroom noise stage...
