I posted this in my build thread but thought I’d share it here for those who won’t see it there.

I have been scouring the internet searching for the perfect set of front seats. They need to meet this criteria:
recline
fold forward
Arm rests
Vinyl/leather
Built in seat belts
And be comfortable

First up is 2018-2020 Honda Odyssey seats:
The fold all the way forward and recline. Have plastic protector on the back and are a popular seat for long haul van lifers. Built in seat belts and come in leather/vinyl

In second place is Chrysler Pacifica:
These seats have all the action that the odyssey seats have but do not have belts

I feel that after having armrests they are a must for these trucks. I know I would be missing mine if I swapped to Jeep seats like I had planned to do but I wanted to find a solution which marked all the boxes.

Once I get a set of either I’ll post up how I installed them and pics of what they look like in the truck.

What is about the 99-06 seat that you don't like? I searched for months waiting to find a set that had manual controls & lumbar adjustment. I found a set relatively cheap based on their condition.

07-13 2nd row suburban captain chairs for fronts and 3rd rows for second row is what I have in my set up and works great

I have been looking at the Pacifica and Odyssey seats for the same reason, for the Fugly Duckling. Tan are non-existent.

99-06 Chevy? The fronts? They don’t fold all the way 90* forward. With the passenger seat having the ability to fold 90* gain a lot in storage. Also, the ability to remove the seats easily. I’d have to see what the bottoms of those look like to see if they can be made to flip. But I know they won’t fold all the way forward.

Chrysler Pacifica seats look interesting... we are talking about using these in the front of a blazer or square body?

what year range pacificas would one need to look for?

I think those are 18-22 Blazer is what I’m referring too

now that I'm looking at those Chrysler seats - the utility is pretty cool, but the only experience i have with seats like that were not well recieved... ex girlfriends carolla had em... a rental Chevy cobalt had em... cant put your head back because the headrest is angled forward so far- gets uncomfortable.

i wonder if that angle of the headrest is also adjustable so they are not jutting out forward so much?

Head rest on new cars are part of the SRS, we actually salvaged some sedans for broken head rest. Perfect cars with low miles, be cause we couldn't replace the head rest, no longer available, and being a "safty" device, outta service. If you go on amazon you can get different style head rest. pretty sure the post dia and width is standardized these days
