I read that before posting, but that seems a little out of my price range. I was considering those 70ish dollar seats from summit

That would be my first choice too but if you’re on a recycled beer can budget like me you might want to check out something like these from Jegs. One of the guys we run with has something similar in his buggy and says there pretty comfy with the pad on.
go to any one of the offroad shows, i went to the offroad expo in pomona calif. and got a set of corbeau baja ss ultra's, reg price like 275 each for 170 each and 25% of 4 pt. harness's. mastercraft and beard and ppr and other seat manufactures were there giving discounts too. just depends how soon you need them.

I just took those out of my '72 and put in factory hi-back buckets, those cheapy racing seats are ass-busters after a few hour ride.

I run the $40 plastic seats and RCI 5point harnesses from Summit. I spent the rest on beer. I think they're comfortable. The trails I run, there is no speed involved so not a lot of bouncing around at 3mph. I do drive it to work once a week with no issues also. You can see pics in my gallery.

using these type of seats is for one main reason, durability. I am thinking of cutting off my roof, and I do mostly mud, so being able to take wetness helps. Also when I get too wild and need to change my shorts
If you are a bigger guy like me(6'2" 285lbs) those plastic seats suck although a little extra padding in the bottom helps but its really the width that makes them uncomfortable for me.

I have PRP seats in my K5. I think they are awsome but to let you and all that read this there customer service Sucks. But if you dont mind poor service they have great seats.
Remember wheeling all day on hard seats makes for a long day if possible save up and get a good pair of seats.

I got recaro recliners and some inertia belts off of ebay real cheap!

keith, do those seats make you lean back a lot when you sit? Or is that just how it looks?

Actually not. I have there seat brackets too. Maybe it just appears that way. It sits pretty straight to me. I will post up later. I will go check it out today
