Sector shaft part # ?

Does anybody have a part # for 2wd sector shafts? Can they be bought at a parts store? What year do I need for a 79 steering gear?

Sector shaft what GM would call a Pitman Shaft?

7813631 for C 10/20/30 for '85-86 Pitman Shaft Kit if it helps any.

That part number is a dealer only, but someone out there has probably got good used ones, if not new, sitting on a shelf.

Hopefully someone from here knows a source. No idea if that part number is even good anymore.

P# 7813631 is a good #. Its $237.99 from the dealer. I havent tried any parts houses yet.

Whatever dealer you checked with is typical, charging you full GM list price. Apparently very few dealers want parts business.
