hmm, yeah, it's a good enough title

I have this: http://www.harborfreight.com/steel-trailer-tongue-box-65439.html

With a $20 off coupon, @ $104.39 it's a great box. My 245# co-worker walked all over it the other day, climbing over my trailer.

I want to mount it to the floor of my blazer. I might even buy a second and slide each one against a wheel well. I need it to be easily removable, tool-less preferably. These will hold my tools, ropes, and other supplies. So far I've built everything around the idea of still using my bed, even with a roll cage, and having a toolbox back there shouldn't change this.

Any ideas? Maybe something like what's found on ammo cans or handyman toolboxs? Those clasps, snap over, latch thingies? :haha::dunno:

Let me add by saying that is a sweet tool box and is something I am definitely going to buy soon so where did you get the 20 off coupon lol My idea would to screw in some metal plates in the bottom that stick up and have it just big enough to where the tool box could just sit in it. Like two 90 degree plates at the corners and that way you could just lift up the tool box and set it back into place whenever and unscrew the plates if they get annoying.

Maybe you could get with kert to use something like his new quick attach fire extinguisher mount, but for multipurpose use. You said your gonna build a cage. Maybe incorporate your cage to it?

just cut up a few of the ammo cans you mentioned and weld them latches on:waytogo:

in the mailed flier or on their website, last time I just brought in the image of the online discount and they honored it

got me thinking about something similar now, just trying to keep the floor as flat as possible. My other truck can't fit 4x8 sheets flat in the bed, so the blazer would be used for some of my more delicate sheets.

I'm currently low on ammo cans, I have 6, need another 6 at least, for more ammo and truck supplies :D

anyone know where I can get a latch like that though?
