Man, now I really feel bad. My Blazer looks tons worse than that. Dents and rust everywhere!!! Be thankful for your straight body...the engine and seats are easy.

Chevy good...Ford bad

I didn't see anything THAT wrong with it. Maybe some new wipers and i'd call it done. The back just looks like my mental picture of Grim's Blazer:) Maybe a little less organised.

Just looks well used to me. Slap some seats in there and drive it!!!

Reminds me of when I first bought my K5. Rust everywhere, blown motor, wires hanging loose everywhere in the interior, etc, etc,. I spent a couple of months of hardwork and dedication into that thing to get it to where it is now. But like Burt said, after some TLC, you'll be cruizin and boozin with joy.

Your right It's a junker. You should just cut your losses and sell it to me for a couple of hundred bucks and put it in that Jeep that belongs to that roof :)
Man I only paid a $1 for my truck and it had $7 worth of change in it so I was paid to haul it away hahah. I actully drove it away. From the pic your floors look better than mine did haha. Imagine opening the door and walking foward till your knee's hit the frame and you have an idea how much I cut out of my truck. I'll have some pics up on my site soon...hay maybe I'll scan a few tonight and put them up. You can see what it looks like now on the link but I have my new bumper on it and the passenger door has some new custom body work care of a big old rock this past weekend. Hay that yard doesn't look like it's in Atlanta...Bartow county maybe...where are you really at? I'm in Marietta.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!! That fine piece of American Steel is a piece of art in its own right. I agree with the others, with some elbow grease, TLC and unfortunately some $$$, your going to have a sweet ride.

You just have to love the looks of those first generations!!!!

Keep us posted and let us see how she is coming along!!!

1/2 the body is bondo, the guy before me patched holes and painted it. I was "tapping" for bondo and stuck my finger through the fender. The drivers door upper hinge is rusted out of the door, the tranny's dead, front hubs don't lock, the top's missing back hatch, cracked below one of the windows, most of the holes are ripped through, and the corners are "rounded." The motor is good, though.

She's gonna be sweet, though. Can't decide if I want to go trail beast of try and make her pretty and functional.

Thanks for all the opinions that it isn't beyond saving. It's nice to know there are others out there that see something besides a rust pile when they look at it. I was starting to think I was the only one.

That's the way I'm leaning. I figure $1000 on body work is a bad trade for an ord doubler or a set of huge tires. Besides, if you have too much money in a truck your too scared to try anything. Hence why my 98 ram 4x4 has never been anywhere rougher than a dirt road.

If your going to wheel it forget the body work....My club has a saying....Body By Tellico.
Got some new trail rash last week from front tire to almost back with a rock on Lower Rattle Snake at Beasley Knob. :)
Driverside rear 1/4 trail 6 Tellico Passengerside some trail 5 Tellico and some Beasley Knob
Get it solid but don't bother to make it pretty. It hurts less when it gets rash hahaha

It doesn't look bad to me, bady in decent shape and bondo isnt too bad, you have front seats and you are at the right place for parts. either way dont let the thing go to the scrapyard, good iron isnt easy to come by.
