Well guys, I have an 4x4 van that I need to sell.
It's pretty rusted out but the drivetrain was all good with one exception,
I sold it to a guy in Denver and agreed to let him have a mechanic check it out. I haven't had any problems with it except for it sitting around and the battery dieing. Anyway, the guy took it to Denver and called me when he got down there to say he couldn't start it. WTF? After a while he called me back and said he counldn't get it into rev. or park but could start it in neutral.
The next day he said he was bringing it back so I said OK.
When he got back, I looked and found it was leaking tranny fluid bad.
I fired it up and took it for a ride, it still worked. I gave him his money back and after futher checking, found that the C6 was cracked in half!!!!!!!
So now I just need to sell it for parts or to someone that was to fix it.
It was a great truck and the parts are worth a bunch. I also have reciepts on everything that has been done to it. I will put more pictures up soon but here is one..... (it's on the left)
Give me a shout if it's something your into. I will get the rest of the info. & pics later. Here's what I belive it has:
460 CU engine with a 780 dbl. pumper
cracked C6 that still goes
205 transfer case I think
Dana 70 rear I think
Dana 44 or 60 front?
Warn hubs
everything was working and has been maintained by a service co.
I need to sell it before Nov.
